Climbing in the Dolomites
The campground is located at the feet the Sas Dlacia mountain, showing a vertical rock formation which is famous for its many climbing routes. It is suitable for climbing in summer only, and offers a wide variety of routes (318 in total) for all tastes (from 5a to 8a) from slabs to overhangs, including multi-pitch routes on solid Dolomite rock.

Sass de Stria, 5 Torri: countless climbing routes from the easiest to the classic ones.
If you are looking for something easier and comfortable, you can drive 8 kms up to the Valparola Pass, where you will find on your right, on the Sas de Stria, a little crag for beginners, also ideal for families (4 to 6a).
There are several more crags in the area, presenting varying difficulty degrees and climbing styles. The climbing book guide is available at our shop and you can also ask the reception for more information.

If you want to train during cold weather or rainy days, we highly recommend the new boulder hall in Corvara or the Climbing Center in Brunico if you wish to train on indoor rope routes.
If it is your first time, if you are not experienced or if you’re not sure about your skills or where to go in the region, we always recommend to hire a professional guide.
