Skiing, nature and “bella vita”
While nature slumbers under the soft blanket of pure white snow covering the Dolomites in enchanted silence, the towns and mountain huts of Alta Badia spring to life. Skiing is by far the main attraction in the winter, with 130 km of perfectly groomed ski runs just in our area to prove it, with further hundreds awaiting in the other Dolomiti Superski areas, most of which are directly connected. Countless mountain huts and restaurants make San Cassiano a paradise for fine dining lovers and for those wishing to taste the simple Ladin cuisine.
And if skiing is not your thing, or not the only one, there are several alternative winter activities. The cross country skiing slopes run right through the Camping Sass Dlacia, while ski mountaineering, snowshoe excursions and simple walking trails allow you to discover a more pristine and serene side of nature. And if you are finally exhausted after a full day outdoors, you can crown it with a soothing sauna in our own Natura Wellness spa.
