Discover the Dolomites UNESCO Geotrail...

... a journey through time and nature

At Camping Sass Dlacia, our philosophy is rooted in a deep connection with the outdoors. We believe that the best way to experience the beauty of the Dolomites is to immerse yourself in their breathtaking landscapes and rich history. One of the most remarkable ways to do this is by embarking on the Dolomites UNESCO Geotrail, a 10-stage trekking route that spans from the Bletterbach Gorge near Aldino to Sesto in the Puster Valley.

This extraordinary trail takes you on a journey through 200 million years of geological history, offering a unique perspective on how these majestic mountains were formed. As you traverse each stage, you'll discover how a tropical sea filled with atolls, volcanoes, and coral reefs gave rise to the dramatic rocky landscape we see today. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009, the Dolomites are celebrated not only for their geological significance but also for the sheer beauty of their towering peaks and distinctive formations.

The Stages of the Dolomites UNESCO Geotrail
